ABOUT
Built in 1951 and made possible by a generous donation from the family of Arthur Fogel of Green Bay, WI, the library offers more than 1,000 titles covering a vast range of Jewish subjects, from mysticism and meditation to histories of the Jewish people and Judaism, from cookbooks and the latest novels by Jewish authors to biblical texts. You can also find art books, vinyls, musical scores, and reference works, as well as books in Hebrew and Yiddish.

Our commitment
To serve the Jewish Community of Greater Green Bay and Brown County as a resource for Jewish education, foster life-long learning and facilitate independent research of the history and cultural development of the Jewish communities of Northeastern Wisconsin.
Our staff strive to facilitate conversations, coordinate outreach initiatives, and foster lasting partnerships with historical and academic institutions to expand the library’s role as an enduring resource for research on Jewish life and history in Brown County and Northeastern Wisconsin.

Get to Know Us
MICHAEL CHARETTE
Senior Librarian
Mike, our Senior Librarian, has been with the library in various capacities for many years, and serves on our library's governing committee. Periodically donating materials from his personal collection, Mike has continued to work in a 'behind the scenes' role.
BUD ANDREWS
Library & Collections Manager
Beginning in 2012 as a Library Assistant, Bud was appointed by the Community's Board of Directors to the role of Library Manager. Since then, Bud has taken on the overall management of the library's collections and outreach initiatives.
JULIA BROTZ
Library Associate
Hired in 2017, Julia has served as our Library Associate and has been a champion of our library's commitment to fostering greater public understanding and appreciation of Jewish history and culture of the greater Green Bay area and Northeastern Wisconsin.
